Daniel Johnson

Hi friends, I'm Daniel, the founder of Eldoraudio. As a pianist, composer, and audio enthusiast, I've used software products to help me create, record, and edit digital music and audio. Some of the software has been phenomenal, but I've also noticed several gaps in the marketplace. We created Eldoraudio to address those gaps. We named the site Eldoraudio after El Dorado, the mythical city of gold, because we're building the new gold standard in audio and music tools.

My extensive experience in music and technology positions me perfectly to launch a site like Eldoraudio. I'm pursuing a PhD at the University of Utah with a focus on machine learning and AI. Before the PhD, I received a master’s degree in computer science at Brigham Young University. I also spent ten years working as a software engineer, including time at Microsoft and Meta, where I contributed to some of the largest codebases on the planet. In addition to my software background, I received a bachelor's degree in piano performance from Brigham Young University. In my spare time (that I don't have), I compose, record, and perform music.
